Key Responsibilities:



  • Monitor purchases and supplies.

  • Assist in audit preparations and resource gathering.

  • Ensure compliance with regulations by examining records and reports.

  • Check supplies, assets, and service delivery for procurement, quality, and cost compliance.

  • Document audit tests and findings.

  • Communicate audit progress and provide information during meetings.

  • Ensure internal controls are effective.

  • Conduct follow-ups on audit reviews.

  • Support in the preparation of management information.

  • Assist external auditors by collating required information.

  • Maintain audit work procedures and files.

  • Investigate suspected irregularities or fraud and report to the supervisor.

  • Conduct periodic checks on school fees, extracurricular activities, and income.

  • Perform surprise stock counts to minimize wastage and theft.

  • Negotiate prices with vendors to secure the best deals.

  • Collect and analyze data to detect deficiencies, fraud, or non-compliance.

  • Provide detailed audit reports to the supervisor.


Person Specification:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • 3-4 years of experience in auditing or a similar role.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and audit software.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • High level of integrity and professionalism.

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
