As Head of Sales, you will be responsible for:
Specific duties :
- Responsibility for the day-to-day activities of your team
- Meet individual target and those of the team as a whole
- Ensure the smooth running of your team
- Contribute to the training and development of your team
- Drive increased revenue and profit to achieve the company’s growth.
- Research competitors and monitor market trends and provide suggestions for improvement.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and customer needs.
General responsibilities:
- Train and appraise individual team members to ensure targets are met
- Participate in the performance and development of team members
- Send weekly reports on your team’s activity to management
- Develop plans for team sales activities to include sales strategy to achieve agreed targets, effective search of leads/prospects, penetrate new markets
- Prepare and agree individual action plans and targets for all team members
- Prepare and agree presentations, proposals and price lists to enable the team to deliver accurate and competitive information whilst maintaining maximum profit margin and assist team members to prepare and deliver client presentations and proposals.
- Delegate authority and responsibility to team members with supervision, accountability and review
- Maintain contact with client for feedback and to obtain client satisfaction
- Set an example for team members of commitment, sales activities, work ethics and habits and personal character
- Maintain accurate records of leads/prospect, pricing, sales and activities
- Adhere to all organization policies and procedures

- Good communication skills in writing, listening and speaking English

- Computer proficiency in the use of Microsoft word, excel and graphs.

- Strong knowledge of industry best practices
- Knowledge of product market and essential tools for marketing
- Reporting skills
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, urban planning or a related field. An advanced degree and professional certificates will be advantageous
- At least 7 years proven experience in marketing a similar product within an established organization
- Must understand sales and marketing.
