Summary 



  • Green Concern for Development (GREENCODE) a registered national NGO in Nigeria is urgently looking for a QuickBooks Finance Assistant who is skilled in QuickBooks Accounting Software usage and training.


Responsibilities



  • Provide support to entire Finance/Compliance and HR/Admin Units in managing Finance and donor data on Quickbook including Personnel and Payroll planning and communication with partners on finance and accounting policies and procedures to staff.

  • Training of finance and compliance staff on the usage of QuickBooks Accounting Software including training materials.

  • Post all Voucher entries into the QuickBooks software and generate periodic reports.

  • Create customers and vendors ledger in all GREENCODE offices.

  • Create other Ledger accounts in all GREENCODE offices.

  • Create reports modules in compliance with Donor requirements.

  • Post and process Accounts Payable journal entries in QuickBooks

  • Maintain bank reconciliations for the organization.

  • Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.

  • Prepare budget forecasts.

  • Prepare and submit financial statements in time.

  • Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.

  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.

  • Ensure timely bank payments.

  • Manage all accounting transactions.

  • Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary.

  • Comply with financial policies and regulations.


Requirements and Skills



  • Diploma (OND) in Finance and Accounting, however, HND/B.Sc Degree in Accounting is an added advantage

  • Minimum of 1 year on the job experience in QuickBooks management/finance bookkeeping

  • Proficiency with QuickBooks and MS Excel

  • Ability to process high-volume vendor payments.

  • Strong debits/credits knowledge

  • Stable job history

  • Experience with general ledger functions

  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills

  • Additional certification (ICAN) or ANAN is a plus.
