Green Concern for Development (GREENCODE) a registered national NGO in Nigeria is urgently looking for a QuickBooks Finance Assistant who is skilled in QuickBooks Accounting Software usage and training.
Responsibilities
Provide support to entire Finance/Compliance and HR/Admin Units in managing Finance and donor data on Quickbook including Personnel and Payroll planning and communication with partners on finance and accounting policies and procedures to staff.
Training of finance and compliance staff on the usage of QuickBooks Accounting Software including training materials.
Post all Voucher entries into the QuickBooks software and generate periodic reports.
Create customers and vendors ledger in all GREENCODE offices.
Create other Ledger accounts in all GREENCODE offices.
Create reports modules in compliance with Donor requirements.
Post and process Accounts Payable journal entries in QuickBooks
Maintain bank reconciliations for the organization.
Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.
Prepare budget forecasts.
Prepare and submit financial statements in time.
Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
Ensure timely bank payments.
Manage all accounting transactions.
Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary.
Comply with financial policies and regulations.
Requirements and Skills
Diploma (OND) in Finance and Accounting, however, HND/B.Sc Degree in Accounting is an added advantage
Minimum of 1 year on the job experience in QuickBooks management/finance bookkeeping
Proficiency with QuickBooks and MS Excel
Ability to process high-volume vendor payments.
Strong debits/credits knowledge
Stable job history
Experience with general ledger functions
Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
Additional certification (ICAN) or ANAN is a plus.
