Job Summary



  • We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse Midwife to join our healthcare team. As a Registered Nurse Midwife, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to women during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum. You will work collaboratively with obstetricians, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective care.


Key Responsibilities



  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for women during pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postpartum

  • Conduct prenatal and postnatal examinations

  • Provide education and support to women and their families on pregnancy, childbirth, and parenting

  • Take/Assist with deliveries and perform midwifery procedures as needed

  • Collaborate with obstetricians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction

  • Stay current with evidence-based practice and professional development


Requirements



  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse Midwife with the relevant professional body

  • Bachelor's degree in Midwifery or a related field

  • Minimum of 3years of experience as a Registered Nurse Midwife

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

  • Commitment to patient-centered care and evidence-based practice
