Job Brief

• We are seeking a professional Translator to interpret written and audio pieces in different languages, maintaining their original meaning, tone, and context. Our ideal candidate is proficient in at least two languages in addition to their native language, with an excellent understanding of grammar, nuances, and cultural references.

Responsibilities

• Applicants should be able to communicate in both English and Chinese languages.


• Applicants should be able to use a computer and be familiar with the use of Microsoft Office products like Excel, Word...


• Applicants should be able to resume immediately.


• Translating written and spoken material from English language into Chinese, Hausa or Kanuri and vice versa


• Proofreading and editing final translated versions to ensure accuracy.


• Using dictionaries, thesauruses, and reference books to find the closest equivalents for terminology and wording used.


• Following up with clients to ensure their translations meet their needs.


• Providing clients with quotes based on project length and complexity.
