Responsibilities

• You shall perform argon welding operations according to the requirements and welding procedures.


• You shall weld various components using multiple medium (steel, stainless steel, and aluminum)


• You shall examine work pieces for defects and measure work pieces as directed.


• You must be able to produce consistent, visually appealing, and colorless welds.


• You shall perform welding duties using wire welding, GMAW (gas metal arc welding), or SMAW (stick welding).


• You shall weld metal pipes, plates, and other materials to build new metal structures like storage tanks.

Requirements

• 3 -5 years proven experience as an Argon welder or TIG Welder


• Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures


• Experience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, calipers, etc.)


• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings


• Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face- shields, gloves, etc.)


• Experience in the fabrication of large vessels from start to finish.


• Should reside close to the job location or be ready to relocate.
