- Our Client urgently requires the services of a Pastry Chef with SSCE, OND, in the relevant field.
- The ideal candidate must be an experienced person that is able to prepare African and Continental dishes.
- He/She should be able to promote and sell a range of the Hotel services, including the meals, Mano Bread, and Mano Plate dining experiences
The Job functionalities include:
- Operate and manage the pastry section of a kitchen,
- Prepare a variety of baked goods
- Prepare Pizza, Milkshakes, and Shawarma and more)
- Decorate and present pastries and baked goods in a tasteful and beautiful way
- Monitor and order ingredients, supplies and equipment
- Meet with customers to discuss custom-made desserts or baked goods for special occasions
- Ensure the bakery section of the kitchen adheres to health and safety regulations
- Identify staffing needs, help to recruit new personnel and train them
- Develop new seasonal recipes and menus and keep up with the latest trends.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess an SSCE, OND qualification with 4 - 5 years relevant work experience.
