Job Summary



  • We are looking for a Medical Software and Equipment Sales Manager for our client who will have sales management experience, technical proficiency in medical software and equipment, and a scientific background makes this role unique.

  • It requires a professional who can bridge the gap between the technical aspects of medical systems and the business and client-facing aspects of sales.


Key Responsibilities



  • Managing a sales team for medical software, equipment, and systems

  • Developing sales strategies and targets

  • Overseeing the sales process from lead generation to closing deals

  • Building and maintaining relationships with healthcare clients and customers

  • In-depth knowledge of medical software applications and their functionalities

  • Understanding of various medical equipment, devices, and systems (e.g., imaging, diagnostics, patient monitoring)

  • Ability to interpret and analyze data outputs from medical software and equipment

  • Providing technical guidance and support to clients and the sales team

  • Strong foundation in medical sciences, biology, or a related field

  • Understanding of clinical workflows, healthcare processes, and regulatory requirements

  • Ability to comprehend and communicate complex medical and scientific concepts


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical discipline; advanced degree preferred.

  • 5yrs or more proven experience in sales management, preferably within the medical technology or healthcare industry.

  • Candidate should have diverse skillset required, encompassing sales leadership, technical expertise in medical systems, and a solid understanding of the scientific and medical domains.

  • Extensive knowledge of medical software applications, equipment, and systems, with the ability to comprehend and communicate technical information effectively.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.

  • Familiarity with healthcare industry trends, regulations, and best practices.

  • Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.

  • Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software and sales tools.
