Responsibilities

• Monitor the surveillance cameras and escalate any issues to management.


• Ensure that staff comply with all company security policies and procedures.


• Respond to security incidents, such as alarms and suspicious activity, and take appropriate action.


• Conduct security checks of buildings and grounds to identify and report any safety hazards or potential security breaches.


• Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, observations, and activities.


• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanour while interacting with staff, visitors, and vendors.

Qualifications

• A minimum of OND in any field.


• Proven computer literacy and proficiency in reviewing surveillance cameras.


• Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a security officer role or a related field.


• Strong observation skills with a keen eye for detail.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• A proactive and curious mindset, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new security protocols and technologies.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
