Job Description



Responsibilities



  • Handles Daily bank reconciliation for all stores and online accounts and POS statements.

  • Manage and maintain accounting records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and other financial data.

  • Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts regularly.

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements to provide insights and recommendations to the Operations Manager.

  • Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and ensure the accuracy of information.

  • Prepare a daily report on the pending tracker of all pending transactions in reconciliation as at the close of business each day.

  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal financial regulations.

  • Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and financial forecast.

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.

  • Assist in the coordination and preparation of the annual audit, including providing supporting documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.

  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management to support strategic decision-making.

  • Maintain confidentiality of all financial information and data.


Requirements



  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred

  • At least 2 - 3 years of experience in an FMCG, Hospitality, or manufacturing sector

  • Strong technical accounting skills and proficiency with accounting software

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively

  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal financial regulations

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills preferred
