Loading and unloading of crude oil and other specialized materials.
Ensure samples from tankers are submitted to the lab for necessary approval.
Gauge’s crude oil and other specialized products transferred to and from tanks, trucks.
Performs valve lineups, switch and tank changes as required to move products in and out of storage tanks.
Set up and operate farm equipment in accordance with current good storage and food handling practices and standard operating procedures.
Monitor product movement to and from storage tanks, coordinating activities with other workers to ensure constant product flow.
Performs tank inspections, make routine daily inspection of facilities and report anything unusual or outside your expertise to your supervisor of HOD including leaks and any other issues.
Verify tanker or truck load numbers to ensure truck placement accuracy based on written or verbal instructions.
Record operating data such as products and quantities pumped, gauge readings, and operating times, manually.
Check conditions and weights of vessels to ensure cleanliness and compliance with loading or unloading procedures.
Seal outlet valves on tankers and trucks.
Follow established unloading/loading procedures including using appropriate equipment/safety measures/PPE, as required.
Ensure appropriate maintenance and safety of tank farm tools/equipment
Ensure farm areas is well kept and cleaned at all time.
Ensure proper and accurate documents and record-keeping
To work overtime upon instruction from supervisor.
Execute any other responsibilities assigned by HOD or supervisor from time to time
The Person
B.Sc/HND/OND or its Equivalent.
2-5 years working experience
Possess strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
ability to work independently or in team environment
Ability to work at height
Mathematical ability and understanding are required
Must be residing or willing to relocate to Anambra State
