Summary

• We are looking for a skilled and motivated Refrigeration Technician to join our growing team. You will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of our clients' cold-chain infrastructure.


• This includes performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions, and repairing commercial and industrial refrigeration systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of refrigeration principles, a commitment to quality service, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on refrigeration systems in cold storage facilities,


• warehouses, and food processing plants, adhering to established schedules and procedures.


• Respond to customer service calls and diagnose refrigeration system issues over the phone or


• on-site.


• Repair and replace faulty refrigeration system components, ensuring proper functionality and


• adherence to safety regulations.


• Maintain accurate service records and document all work performed.


• Assist senior technicians with complex repairs and installations (as needed).


• Calibrate and adjust refrigeration controls to optimize performance and efficiency.


• May provide basic training or guidance to clients on proper operation and maintenance of their


• refrigeration systems.


• Ensure a clean and safe work environment, following all company safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in servicing and repairing commercial/industrial refrigeration systems.


• Working knowledge of refrigeration principles, components (compressors, condensers, evaporators, etc.), and troubleshooting procedures.


• Ability to use hand tools and basic refrigeration service equipment..


• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.


• Strong manual dexterity and ability to work in confined spaces.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients.


• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.


• Valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working within the cold-chain infrastructure industry.


• Proficiency in using refrigeration diagnostic tools and software.


• Experience with brazing and soldering techniques.
