  • Managing of Petty Cash and Posting accordingly

  • Regular stock counts at various locations

  • Monthly Remittance of Staff Payee and Pension

  • Vetting of travel requests and retirements from salespersons.

  • Maintaining staff cash advances and accounts

  • Regular Bank running for Cheque deposits and documentations.

  • Assist the finance manager with Monthly and annual closing of the books by reviewing and correcting the accounting transactions.

  • Regular reconciliations of different accounts, bank accounts, cash accounts

  • Maintenance of proper documentation (archive) for all transactions recorded.

  • Other regular duties as requested by line managers.


Performance Indicators:



  • Assuring proper accounting for all transactions that fall within prescribed JD) that reflects the economic reality and operations.

  • Successful support to the finance manager in conducting periodic closing of accounting books.

  • Maintenance of proper archive for the department

  • Monthly Remittance of Staff Payee and Pension recognition

  • Others as it rises by the reasonable circumstances of business and operations.

  • Team Player (ability to cooperate with colleagues and contribute to the positive atmosphere)

  • Open to learning (Positive handling of constructive criticism and reaction manager’s guidance)

  • Initiative (takes the initiative by proposing solutions to problems and ways to enhance processes)


Requirements



  • Interested candidates should possess an HND, Master's Degree, or BSc in a relevant field with 4 - 7 years work experience.
