Key Job Responsibilities

• Work with the project team to develop cost estimates for facilities projects.


• Immediate focus is on infrastructure estimates related to Accommodations, Catering facilities, Office refurbs, Airport Runway, etc


• Interfaces with project team members to identify status of CE related risks, updating project risk register


• Assist project team to gather Industry benchmark data necessary to refine cost estimates.


• Develop (and update as needed) an Estimating Plan and detailed Basis of Estimate for the project cost data.


• Works with Project Controls and other project team members to develop the WBS, CBS, and OBS


• Regularly review cost estimate with scheduler to ensure assumptions are consistent across board for both schedule and cost; and schedule is reviewed to match updates in cost estimates.


• Support project assurance reviews related to cost and schedule – e.g. ICSA (ESAR, CSRA)

Qualification:

• Verifiable demonstrated Estimating experience (minimum of 10years) is key.


• An Engineering or Quantity Surveyor degree and membership of AACE or equivalent will be an added advantage.

Expectation:

• Ability to work as a Team as well as execute his/her task with little or no supervision.


• Support other adhoc Cost Engineering activities as needed.
