Develop and implement the company's exploration strategy in alignment with overall business objectives.
Provide strategic guidance on exploration risk management, portfolio diversification, and resource allocation.
Oversee prospect generation, evaluation, and selection processes, utilizing advanced geological, geophysical, and engineering techniques.
Utilize seismic interpretation, well log analysis, petrophysical evaluations, and reservoir simulation to understand reservoir properties and performance.
Requirements
Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in Geoscience, Petroleum Engineering, or a related discipline.
Extensive experience (15+ years) in upstream oil and gas exploration and subsurface evaluation, with a proven track record of success in leadership roles.
Strong technical expertise in geological and geophysical interpretation, reservoir characterization, and reservoir engineering.
Expertise in 2D/3D Seismic acquisition, seismic processing, contract negotiation and management.
Familiarity with seismic interpretation software (e.g., Kingdom, Petrel) and geomodeling techniques for static reservoir description/ prediction and volumetric computation.
