Job Description

• Develop and implement the company's exploration strategy in alignment with overall business objectives.


• Provide strategic guidance on exploration risk management, portfolio diversification, and resource allocation.


• Oversee prospect generation, evaluation, and selection processes, utilizing advanced geological, geophysical, and engineering techniques.


• Utilize seismic interpretation, well log analysis, petrophysical evaluations, and reservoir simulation to understand reservoir properties and performance.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in Geoscience, Petroleum Engineering, or a related discipline.


• Extensive experience (15+ years) in upstream oil and gas exploration and subsurface evaluation, with a proven track record of success in leadership roles.


• Strong technical expertise in geological and geophysical interpretation, reservoir characterization, and reservoir engineering.


• Expertise in 2D/3D Seismic acquisition, seismic processing, contract negotiation and management.


• Familiarity with seismic interpretation software (e.g., Kingdom, Petrel) and geomodeling techniques for static reservoir description/ prediction and volumetric computation.
