Responsibilities

• This is a full-time on-site role for a QHSE Officer located in Port Harcourt.


• The QHSE Officer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental standards within the organization.


• The day-to-day tasks of the QHSE Officer will include implementing and maintaining health and safety policies, conducting audits, conducting risk assessments, performing incident investigations, and promoting a culture of safety among employees.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role Health & Safety, Environment Health and Safety (EHS), and Occupational Health knowledge


• Experience in workplace safety and implementing safety policies


• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team


• Qualification in a related field (e.g. Health and Safety Management, Environmental Science) is a plus
