Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Network Analyst to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining network devices, managing LAN and internet connectivity, troubleshooting network issues, conducting network audits, managing bandwidth, monitoring network performance, implementing network security measures, and developing network Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) strategies.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, access points).


• Apply patches and updates to network devices.


• Manage and support the local area network (LAN) and internet connections.


• Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues.


• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and other network-related problems.


• Conduct regular network audits to ensure compliance with policies and standards.


• Monitor and manage network bandwidth.


• Continuously monitor network performance and security.


• Identify and respond to potential security breaches and performance issues.


• Develop and enforce network security policies and procedures.


• Implement security measures such as firewalls, VPNs, IDS, and IPS.


• Develop and maintain network governance policies and procedures.


• Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate network-related risks.


• Ensure network compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.


• Proven experience as a Network Analyst, Network Engineer, or similar role.


• In-depth knowledge of network infrastructure, protocols, and technologies.


• Proficiency in network hardware configuration and troubleshooting.


• Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.


• Strong understanding of network security principles and practices.


• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.


• Strong communication and documentation skills.


• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are a plus.
