Job Overview



  • The Regional Operations Manager (AWA) would be responsible to lead, monitor and implement the operational activities for Aldelia in the region and related countries: Nigeria, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Liberia and any other assigned country.

  • The job holder will be a self-starter with the ability to work autonomously. She/he will manage, analyse, and improve organizational processes, and work to improve quality, productivity, and efficiency. The person shall oversee the overall operation support to the business at regional level.


Key Responsibilities



  • Assist the Regional Director in creating, growing, and supporting the business entities within the region(s) assigned.

  • Oversee daily operations of the region and the work of relative countries operations teams.

  • Drive company results from both an operational and financial perspective working closely with the Regional Director and Country Heads where applicable.

  • Partner with the finance team to achieve favourable financial results with respect to sales, profitability, cash flow, systems, reporting and controls.

  • Create effective measurement tools to gauge the efficiency and effectiveness of internal and external processes.

  • Provide accurate and timely reports outlining the operational condition of the entity.

  • Ensure the regional entities are running at full operational capacity.

  • Forge strategic partnerships and relationships with clients, vendors, banks, investors, and all other professional business relationships.

  • Manage the planning, administering, implementation and controlling of weekly budgets for regional entities office operations purposes.

  • Improving operational management systems, processes and best practices whilst implementing the right practices in Aldelia in the specific region/entities to improve performance.

  • Interpret, analyse, and implement data to make informed decision to enhance efficiency.

  • Providing general support to the Countries Operations Teams to enhance efficiency as directed.

Person Specification


Preferred Experience and Education



  • A minimum of 10 years experience in Operations, office management, general service is required for this role.

  • Bachelor’s degree qualified ideally in Social Sciences, Business Administration, Humanities, and Logistics etc.

  • MSC or MBA will be highly desirable.

  • Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management

  • Experience budgeting and forecasting.

  • Familiarity with business and financial principles is essential.
