​​​​​​​SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships

  • Purchase of products and services in the organization.

  • Review/ analyze all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options.

  • Research new products and services to meet the company’s goals.

  • Maintain adequate records of all pricing and purchasing of all materials.

  • Ensure all products and supplies are of good quality.

  • Estimating and establishing cost parameters and budgets for purchases.

  • Determine which commission is appropriate and costeffective.

  • Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries

  • Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.

  • Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients

  • Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Must have a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field

  • Minimum of 1year postNYSC experience as a procurement department team member.

  • Good negotiation skills

  • Analytical thinking

  • Financial acumen

  • Attention to detail

  • Computer literacy
