Job Summary

• Greet customers and take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently


• Operate a point-of-sale (POS) system to process transactions and handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments


• Manage cash handling responsibilities, including counting change, handling refunds, and maintaining a cash drawer


• Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and addressing concerns in a friendly and professional manner


• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and prioritizing tasks as needed


• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards


• Collaborate with other restaurant staff, including servers, hosts, and kitchen staff, to ensure efficient service

Responsibilities

• Take orders and process payments accurately and efficiently


• Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments, counting change and managing cash handling responsibilities


• Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and addressing concerns


• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards


• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and prioritizing tasks as needed


• Collaborate with other restaurant staff to ensure efficient service


• Follow restaurant policies and procedures, including those related to cash handling and customer service

Requirements

• candidates should possess OND, BSc, HND with 2 - 3 years of relevant work experience.


• Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a POS system


• Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanor


• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and prioritizing tasks as needed


• Strong communication and teamwork skills


• Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards


• Restaurant experience preferred.
