Job Summary

• The ideal candidate must have experience working with children and must have a passion for fostering swimming skills and creativity in children.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will:

• Design and develop an age-appropriate swimming curriculum (floating, breathing techniques, kicking, arm strokes, etc) that fosters creativity, imagination, and skill development in children aged 412.


• Provide instruction in a variety of swimming skills suitable for young children, introducing basic techniques and instructions.


• Supervise and support the children during sessions, providing guidance and assistance as needed.


• Organize and facilitate group swimming activities to encourage teamwork, cooperation, and social interaction among children.


• Maintain a positive and inclusive atmosphere where children feel valued and encouraged to participate.


• Ensure that all activities are conducted following relevant health and safety guidelines.


• Attend refresher training sessions at the office twice a month to enhance skills and knowledge.

Skills:

• Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English.


• You must be patient and energetic with children.


• Playful and able to connect with children on their level.


• Excellent time management skills (You must be punctual).


• Team player


• Multi-tasking (You must be reliable, and able to work with limited supervision).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Education or relevant field.


• A professional certification in swimming.


• 2 years work experience.


• A CPR and First Aid certification


• National and international certification in swimming is an added advantage.

Experience:

• Previous experience working with children in an educational setting.


• Experience in organizing in-house performances and external swimming competitions.
