Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective processes for the learning and development of children.


• Manage the reviews of teachers and other teaching staff within the school community.


• Implement safeguarding procedures as required.


• Manage the school budget for all required expenditures such as learning materials, salaries, and also extracurricular activities.


• Arrange and oversee parent-teacher meetings.


• Prepare the teachers, pupilsand other staff members for inspections conducted by the regulatory authority.


• Provide reports on performance, financials, and improvements to the board.


• Create a diverse, dynamic, and inclusive environment among the teachers and pupils.


• Take classes when required to cover for sickness and absence of teachers.

Qualifications

• B.Ed, BA/B.Sc plus PGD in Education.


• Must possess at least tenyears robust teaching and pupils management experience from knownschools

Other Conditions:

• Candidates for Primary School Head Teacher must be grounded in Math, English and Sciences


• Candidates for Nursery School Head Teacher must be grounded in management of Nursery and Playgroup pupils


• Ideal candidates should presently reside or can procure accommodation in Trans Nkisi axis


• Accommodation shall be provided for some key teachers
