Job Summary
- The Meter Asset Provider Supervisor role combines operational excellence with strategic thinking to ensure the efficient management of metering assets and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic:
- Establish and maintain effective communication channels with internal teams, external stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to address challenges, optimize processes, and enhance overall service delivery.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement in metering operations to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Implement strategic initiatives to streamline workflows and increase the overall effectiveness of the metering asset management process.
- Utilize data analytics tools to analyze performance metrics, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
Operational:
- Oversee the efficient deployment of field teams for meter installations, replacements, and repairs.
- Coordinate daily field operations to ensure optimal resource utilization and adherence to project schedules.
- Monitor the performance of metering assets, conduct inspections, and implement preventive maintenance measures.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to metering assets and ensure timely resolution.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality assurance protocols.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain high-quality metering services.
- Provide training and guidance to field personnel on installation procedures, safety protocols, and best practices.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and skill development within the team.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in metering operations, asset management, or a related field,
- Proven track record in managing field operations, including installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of metering systems.
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of metering technologies, including smart meters and AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure).
- Proficiency in data analytics tools and software for analyzing performance metrics and making data-driven decisions.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements related to metering and utility services.
