Job Summary


The E-Commerce Executive drives the growth of the E-Commerce business by enhancing customer experience, managing customer order fulfilment, technology, and infrastructural plans. The candidate is also responsible for generating data-driven commercial insights and managing relationships with partners for the business. The E-Commerce Manager works in a fast-paced, digitally centric environment where the candidate oversees the end-to-end commercialization and operationalization of the E-Commerce business.


Responsibilities:



  • Analyze new market trends, business opportunities and market segments in global and local landscape.

  • Analyze past performance of collections, categories, and campaigns to improve marketing effectiveness and ROI.

  • Analyze service quality and customer satisfaction

  • Assess potential partnership prospects.

  • Define and revise order fulfilment policies and procedures.

  • Design business questions to be used for data mining and analysis

  • Develop a service recovery framework.

  • Develop and implement roadmap for online store's functionality

  • Develop service operations.

  • Develop, manage, and measure performance of technology vendor relationships.

  • Drive e-commerce sales performance.

  • Encourage service innovation.

  • Generate ideas and strategies based upon data-driven insights and recommendations.

  • Implement e-commerce strategic and tactical programmes.

  • Manage and review e-commerce operations and processes.

  • Manage customer retention and loyalty programmes.

  • Manage sales, promotions, marketing and social media campaigns, and programmes over digital platforms.

  • Manage the procurement and implementation of new technologies.

  • Measure order fulfilment and customer satisfaction performance.

  • Monitor and review data mining and analytics tools.

  • Process new orders and ship successfully

  • Monitor all product shipments and progress

  • Manage relationships between company and its suppliers

  • Generating Purchase orders for approval by management when stock volumes deplete

  • Generating sales  performance reports  to management upon request

  • Managing all interactions and relationships with e-commerce platforms the company trades on.


Skills, Knowledge, and Experience



  • Minimum 3 - 5 years’ experience in a similar role

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar field.

  • Knowledge of implementing digital marketing concepts such as PPC, SEO, social media, display, and affiliate channels.

  • Confidence developing and overseeing retail and eCommerce-focused digital marketing strategies.

  • Completion of a pertinent sales qualification is preferred.

  • Extensive experience as an e-commerce manager.

  • Demonstrable track record of devising sales-enhancing strategies.

  • Sound knowledge of prevailing procedures and techniques in e-commerce.

  • Unmatched supervision, research, and troubleshooting skills.

  • Exceptional consulting and quality assurance abilities.

  • Ability to tackle the demands of ever-evolving technological implements with ease.

  • Good knowledge of ICT industry

  • Experience in sales related role
