Develop and implement a comprehensive audit strategy and plan to assess and strengthen controls throughout the organization.
Performs preliminary planning and establishes direction for audits, provides leadership to assigned auditors by reviewing their works and providing guidance, managing projects to quality outcomes while meeting established time budgets.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business processes and risks, and provide recommendations for control enhancements.
Establish and maintain a strong control culture across the organization.
Drive change management initiatives to improve control practices and awareness.
Create & deliver reports to senior management on the status of controls, audit finding & recommended actions.
Work closely with Management to identify potential risks in the company's operations and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Analyze the integrity and reliability of financial information and means used for identifying, measuring, classifying and reporting information. Also, review and record activities and plans defined by management to resolve issues identified by audit findings.
Respond to ad hoc requests to address control issues on new business processes, policies, and procedures, and provide consultative services to management.
Review operational processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
First degree in Accounting or any other related field of study. A member of ICAN or other applicable/ relevant professional bodies
5-7 years of professional experience in internal audit, forensic auditing, external auditing and complianceFast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) Industry Expertise and core manufacturing background.
Proven experience in internal audit, control assessment, or risk management, with a track record of successfully implementing control enhancements and internal process restructuring
Experience in Multi-Location Business Environments.
Strong knowledge of audit methodologies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
