Job Description:


We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiographer to join our dynamic radiology department. As a Radiographer, you will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging examinations using X-ray, Ultrasound and other radiographic equipment. You will play a crucial role in patient care, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to diagnose and treat medical conditions.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety.

  • Perform radiographic procedures as prescribed by physicians, following established protocols.

  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process and answering any questions to ensure comfort and cooperation.

  • Ensure accurate positioning of patients to obtain optimal images.

  • Evaluate images for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as necessary.

  • Maintain patient records and imaging files, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.

  • Adhere to radiation safety guidelines to protect patients, staff, and self.

  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care.

  • Stay current with developments in radiographic techniques and technology.


Qualifications:



  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.

  • State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in diagnostic imaging preferred.

  • Proficiency in operating radiographic equipment and understanding of imaging techniques.

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare team members.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
