Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly motivated Photovoltaic (PV) Engineer to join our growing team.


• You will play a key role in designing, integrating, and maintaining solar PV systems for our cold-chain infrastructure projects.


• This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a sustainable future while ensuring efficient and reliable cold storage solutions for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Design and size grid-connected and off-grid PV systems for cold-chain facilities, considering factors like energy consumption, roof space, and local regulations.


• Collaborate with engineers and architects to ensure seamless integration of PV systems into cold-chain infrastructure projects.


• Evaluate bids from solar contractors and recommend the most cost-effective and reliable solutions.


• Oversee the installation process of PV systems, ensuring adherence to safety standards and project timelines.


• Conduct performance monitoring and analyze data to optimize system efficiency and energy production.


• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of PV systems to ensure optimal functionality.


• Stay current with advancements in PV technology and cold-chain energy solutions.


• Prepare technical reports and documentation related to PV system design, installation, and maintenance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.


• Minimum of 2 years of experience in designing and implementing photovoltaic systems.


• Strong understanding of solar energy principles, system components, and design methodologies.


• Proficiency in PV design software.


• Experience with electrical codes and safety standards related to PV installations.


• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Experience with integrating PV systems into cold-chain infrastructure projects.


• Knowledge of energy storage solutions for renewable energy systems.


• Experience with project management methodologies.

Remuneration

• Salary: N150,000 - N200,000 Monthly.
