• We are currently looking to recruit a detail-oriented Procurement Officer for our client in the FMCG Industry.

REQUIREMENTS

• BSc or HND in Purchasing and supply or any other related field.


• Minimum of 5 years' experience in procuring agricultural produce; experience in Garri sourcing is an added advantage.


• preferred work experience in FMCG or Agro produce trading companies.


• Basic understanding of Garri production and the factors affecting its quality


• Willingness to work With local farming communities in rural and remote areas


• Basic computer knowledge is preferred.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Onboard small-scale Garri processors for supplies.


• Train and develop processors to understand and meet the quality requirements for Garri.


• Maintain strong relationships with processors, earning their trust and loyalty.


• Implement the company's supplier support policies.


• Achieve targets for quantity, quality, and price in Garri procurement.


• Map the major Carri markets in the area and establish a price collection mechanism.
