Job Description

• The batched concrete or ready mix concrete are used in road construction sites for road construction as well as in building construction sites.


• The batching plant operator works in the road construction and building construction sites.

Responsibilities

• The batching plant operator use the equipment in line with company policy as well as regulatory requirements for new developments projects such as housing or roads construction projects.

The job involves the following duties and responsibilities:

• Operating the equipment safely.


• Carry out routine inspections , checks and maintenance


• Ensuring that the site is kept clean.


• Ensuring that the equipment is turned off when not in use.


• Ensuring that ready mix concrete is prepared on time as when needed


• Report any issues encountered, such as defects or damages.


• Comply with batching instructions and procedure


• Carrying out other functions as may be assigned by the site supervisor or manager


• It is crucial that the operator follows strict safety and security measures at all times.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess:

• High School Diploma and relevant license and certification


• A minimum of five (3-5 years) experience


• Past experience in a similar role is Mandatory.
