Job Description

• Perform engineering tasks using standard techniques and procedures.


• Ability to plan, manage and direct constructions on site.


• Solve design problems using engineering calculations and following design standards and specifications.


• Establish project controls and ensure accuracy and quality in plans and process.


• Ensure project feasibility through continual evaluation of structural integrity and design practicality.


• Analyze drawings and maps to aid the direction of projects and overall budget.


• Maintain project database by collating data, information and documents as required.

Requirements

• Must be COREN certified.


• B.Sc in Civil (S) Engineering.


• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in construction industry.


• Knowledge of design software.


• Adept at calculating requirements for pressure, loads and stresses.


• Experienced in concrete foundation designs and steel related structures.


• Strong analytical skills, with high level of accuracy in calculations and design implementation.


• Excellent organizational and time management skills to ensure project deadlines are met.


• Must be experienced in managing high-rise projects.


• Must have leadership skills for managing a multi-disciplined environment.
