Job Summary



  • We are seeking an experienced Fleet Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our fleet of vehicles, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and optimizing fleet operations to reduce costs and improve efficiency.


Key Responsibilities



  • Manage a fleet of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and vans

  • Coordinate vehicle maintenance and repairs with external providers

  • Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program to reduce downtime and extend vehicle lifespan

  • Ensure all vehicles are compliant with safety regulations and company policies

  • Monitor and analyze fleet performance data to identify areas for improvement

  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce fuel consumption and lower emissions

  • Collaborate with the procurement team to source new vehicles and equipment

  • Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders

  • Maintain accurate records and reports on fleet operations


Requirements



  • 2 years of experience in a fleet management role

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. logistics, transportation)

  • Strong knowledge of fleet management principles and practices

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and fleet management software


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Certification in fleet management (e.g. CAFM, CFM)

  • Experience with telematics and GPS tracking systems

  • Knowledge of environmental sustainability principles and practices
