Job Purpose

• Responsible for electrical maintenance related activities of all the NPK plants of TAK across all the locations to achieve equipment reliability and plant availability as per production plan.


• To provide technical expertise and operational support to the team including Inter and intra-departmental coordination for all activities.

Core Responsibilities

• Ensure timely implementation of electrical maintenance projects and plans for individual sections, including overall supervision, monitoring; control of departmental activities.


• Ensure all required resources (manpower, material, special tools, lifting tools  tackles, transportation, specialized equipment and machines) are adequately available.


• Review of the overall performance of electrical equipment and systems to minimize downtime, timely anticipate, solve problems, and identify opportunities for reliability improvement.


• Monitoring and ensuring compliance of Maintenance KPIs, including Preventive Maintenance and statutory compliance, etc.


• Make necessary improvements to enhance equipment reliability, reduce maintenance cost.


• Review and monitor the availability of spare parts and Services to ensure the timely availability of all resources for all maintenance activities, MOC, and Capex. Coordinate with purchase, MMD, vendor/parts suppliers.


• Provide Technical support for vendor development


• Prepares an annual maintenance budget. Review SMPs for mechanical equipment and ensures compliance.


• Monitor and ensure compliance with all maintenance schedules, including condition monitoring, PM, LLF, inspection, FAR and audit recommendations.


• Review Preventive Maintenance condition, and inspections of Plant; Machinery schedules periodically for their compliance and effectiveness


• Conduct employee performance reviews based on job descriptions to determine competency, knowledge. Interact with Engineers and Technicians and arrange training as per the training needs for their development.


• Active involvement in documentation and implementation of all company initiatives and certifications.

Qualifications

• 10 years of work experience in electrical maintenance in a leading manufacturing company. Fertilizer production will be added advantage.


• Rich experience in quality plant maintenance at the time of joining the company. In house drawing development skill


• Good understanding of maintenance machinery and equipment,
