Summary



  • As the Business Development Manager, the role entails driving growth and market expansion for pharmaceutical products.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing business strategies, fostering partnerships, and identifying new opportunities to enhance the company's market presence.


Responsibilities



  • Represent the organisation's business development interests at relevant meetings and events.

  • Develop and execute a business development strategy focused on ensuring organisational sustainability.

  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and market share.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and launch new products.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.

  • Lead negotiations and contract development with clients.

  • Monitor vendor agreements, vendor performance requirements and product performance expectations.

  • Perform other duties assigned.


Educational Requirement



  • At least a bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.

  • An MBA is a valuable asset.


Knowledge, Skills & Experience



  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in business development roles.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team

  • Ability to organise and complete multiple projects in an efficient and timely manner.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to effectively interact with a diverse team of people and build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders

  • Ability to deal with a fast paced environment with changing work priorities

  • Multi-tasking and excellent prioritization

  • Ability to think and plan strategically

  • Excellent relationship management.

  • Knowledge and understanding of the pharmaceutical terrain

  • Proven track record of successful business development initiatives.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
