Summary
- As the Business Development Manager, the role entails driving growth and market expansion for pharmaceutical products.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing business strategies, fostering partnerships, and identifying new opportunities to enhance the company's market presence.
Responsibilities
- Represent the organisation's business development interests at relevant meetings and events.
- Develop and execute a business development strategy focused on ensuring organisational sustainability.
- Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and market share.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and launch new products.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
- Lead negotiations and contract development with clients.
- Monitor vendor agreements, vendor performance requirements and product performance expectations.
- Perform other duties assigned.
Educational Requirement
- At least a bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
- An MBA is a valuable asset.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in business development roles.
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Ability to organise and complete multiple projects in an efficient and timely manner.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to effectively interact with a diverse team of people and build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to deal with a fast paced environment with changing work priorities
