Position Overview:



  • We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Volunteer Research and Development Manager to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:


Research and Analysis:



  • Conduct comprehensive research on social, economic, and environmental issues relevant to our mission.

  • Analyze data, trends, and best practices to inform the development of evidence-based programs and initiatives.

  • Synthesize research findings into clear and actionable recommendations for the organization.


Program Development:



  • Collaborate with stakeholders to conceptualize, design, and implement innovative programs and projects.

  • Develop project plans, budgets, and timelines in collaboration with the team.

  • Ensure that programs are aligned with the organization's strategic goals and objectives.


Partnership Development:



  • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with like-minded organizations, institutions, and funders.

  • Explore funding opportunities and assist in grant writing and proposal development.

  • Foster collaborative relationships to leverage resources and maximize impact.


Volunteer Management:



  • Recruit, onboard, and train volunteers to support research and development activities.

  • Provide guidance, support, and supervision to volunteers, ensuring their contributions align with organizational goals.

  • Foster a positive and inclusive volunteer culture grounded in teamwork and shared values.


Monitoring and Evaluation:



  • Develop and implement systems for monitoring and evaluating program effectiveness and impact.

  • Prepare reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., social sciences, international development, public policy).

  • Proven 1-5 years experience in research, program development, and project management, preferably in the non-profit sector.

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

  • Passion for social justice, community empowerment, and making a positive impact in the world.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with research methodologies and tools.
