Job Brief

The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products and services. This individual will lead the QA team, develop and implement testing strategies, and work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software testing, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality products.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the QA team, providing guidance and support to junior members.


• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts.


• Conduct manual and automated testing to identify and resolve software defects.


• Collaborate with development, product management, and other stakeholders to ensure product quality and user satisfaction.


• Perform regression testing, performance testing, and usability testing.


• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools.


• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.


• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.


• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to development teams.


• Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.


• 3-5+ years of experience in software quality assurance.


• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.


• Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP, JUnit, TestNG).


• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., LoadRunner, JMeter).


• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.


• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Strong written and verbal communication skills.


• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.


• Detail-oriented with a passion for delivering high-quality products.
