Position Description
- The Key Account Officer is an important part of the Business and Sales department which focuses on client retention ratios, sales revenue from existing clients, and top-quality service standards.
- When there is a new product in the organization, Key Account Officers’ insights and support will be an addition when it comes to achieving our targets and retaining our competitive edge as a company.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Proactively engage with key clients to understand their business needs, challenges, and objectives.
- Develop and implement account management strategies to maximize client satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as customer success, sales acquisition, growth, product and engineering to address client requirements and deliver customised solutions.
- Monitor account performance metrics, track sales activities, and prepare regular reports for management review.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, escalations, and issue resolution.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Conduct regular business reviews and client meetings to review performance, solicit feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements in all client interactions.
Requirements and skills
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in key account management, sales, or business development roles.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in a B2B environment.
- Proven track record of managing Enterprise clients or HNIs.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with clients.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, analyze trends, and draw actionable insights.
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering high-quality service and exceeding client expectations.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
