Job Responsibilities



  • Develop and implement strategic plans for all events, aligning them with client objectives, company goals, and industry best practices.

  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify market trends, competitor activities, and opportunities for innovation and expansion in event management.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their event requirements, and expectations, and provide feedback.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to foster long-term partnerships and repeat business opportunities.

  • Coordinate all aspects of event planning and execution, including venue selection, vendor management, budgeting, scheduling, and logistics.

  • Work closely with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and timely delivery of events.

  • Develop event budgets, track expenses, and monitor financial performance to ensure events are delivered within budget constraints.

  • Identify cost-saving opportunities, negotiate vendor contracts, and optimize budget allocation for maximum ROI.

  • Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate any disruptions to event operations.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, insurance requirements, and other legal considerations for event management.

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the event management team, including event coordinators, planners, and support staff.

  • Foster a positive work environment, promote teamwork, and facilitate professional development opportunities for team members.

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to event success, client satisfaction, and team performance.

  • Conduct post-event evaluations, gather feedback from clients and stakeholders, and implement improvements based on lessons learned.


Requirements



  • Bachelor's Degree in Event Management, Social Science, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field (Master's degree preferred)

  • Proven experience in event management, with a minimum of 5 years in a strategic leadership/ project management role

  • Strong understanding of the event industry, market trends, and best practices

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

  • Proficient in budgeting, financial management, and project management tools

  • Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities

  • Certification in event planning or project management is a plus
