Role And Responsibilities

Roles and responsibilities (to be confirmed) include but are not limited to:

• Leading and/or contributing to analytical studies and scoping work related to revenue policy and administration reform in Nigeria;


• Programme design and political economy analysis;


• Leading stakeholder consultations and mapping;


• Developing reports and case studies;

Specific roles and responsibilities will be dependent on the nature of interventions and will be discussed with the selected candidates.

Requirements:

The consultant should meet the following requirements:

• Must be a Nigerian national;


• University degree in relevant areas such as economics;


• Experience of working with programme scoping and design, political economy analysis and fiscal and revenue issues in Africa is desirable;


• Experience of working with key Government of Nigeria Revenue Institutions, such as FIRS is highly desirable;


• Experience in the design of TA programming within the PFM and revenue reform space;


• Experience in conducting GESI-focused research is desirable.
