Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Managing financial transactions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Reconciling financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
- Monitoring cash flow and preparing cash flow forecasts.
- Assisting with budget preparation and financial reporting.
- Processing payroll accurately and on time, calculating wages, deductions, and overtime.
- Ensuring compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements related to payroll.
- Overseeing day to day administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, organizing files, maintaining supplies, etc.
- Handling incoming and outgoing correspondences, including emails, phone calls and letters. Also, responsible for drafting memos and reports.
- Maintaining accurate records, databases and filing systems.
- Ensuring that office equipment is properly maintained and coordinating repairs or replacements as necessary.
Educational Qualification and other Requirements
- A Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma in Accounting, Business Administration or any other related disciplines from reputable educational institutions
- Excellent MS Office knowledge, verbal and written communications skills
- Between the ages of 25 - 35 years
- Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Knowledge of applicable tax laws, codes and regulations in the industry
- Working knowledge and experience of an accounting software / ERP
- One to two years experience required.
