Job Description

• Collaborate with creative director to understand garment specifications and production requirements.


• Liaise with storekeepers/procurement personnel to ensure timely availability of all raw materials required for each garment.


• Consult with clients to understand their desired styles, interpret their vision, and meticulously record details like measurements and collection dates.


• Maintain accurate records of production schedules, customer orders, and garment details.


• Possess a deep understanding of fabrics and their suitability for different styles, guiding clients in selecting the perfect materials for their bespoke pieces.


• Develop and manage weekly production schedules based on customer collection dates.


• Set clear daily production targets (e.g., 2 outfits per tailor) and monitor progress towards achieving these goals.


• Oversee the entire production process from start to finish, ensuring garments adhere to the highest quality standards.


• Implement a rigorous quality control system, meticulously inspecting garments for:


• Foster cost-effective production by streamlining processes and minimizing material waste.


• Hold tailors accountable for minimizing errors and adhering to efficient practices.


• Submit weekly reports outlining completed jobs, enabling effective performance tracking and targeted improvement strategies.


• Foster a positive and productive work environment for all team members.


• Working with managers to implement the company’s policies and goals


• Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed


• Any other duty as assigned.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess OND / HND / B.Sc Degrees with 3 - 5 years relevant work experience.
