You will be responsible for training students in the use of computer-aided design tools, as well as simulation (FEA) and machine design applied to the development of robotic systems.
You will also train students in the development of embedded systems and electronics design for robotics.
Aside from training, you’ll also contribute to relevant projects within the robotics lab.
Requirements:
A holistic experience in the development of robotic systems.
Knowledgeable in both mechanical design and manufacturing.
In-depth experience with computer-aided design tools for solid modelling, assembly, surface modelling, rendering, simulation (FEA), and generative design. Experience with Fusion 360 specifically is a plus.
In-depth experience with embedded systems development applied to robotics (C, C++, and Python). Experience with Micropython and/or CircuitPython is a plus.
Experience with PCB design. Experience with PCB prototyping is a plus.
Experience with different development boards, including Arduino, Raspberry Pi Pico, and Raspberry Pi.
Commitment to continuous learning and the ability to learn swiftly.
