Responsibilities



  • Help to foster a positive culture of compliance by working proactively to ensure that best practices and systems are in place to facilitate business growth and the overall success of business in accordance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, and internal policy.

  • Responsible for drafting policy, process and procedure to improve on the compliance posture of the organization

  • Input all interactions in the case management system and/or leave management system

  • Responsible for the maintenance of company-mandated reports on all incidents.

  • Discreetly handle sensitive employee reports or information.

  • Develop and implement an effective compliance program.

  • Create sound internal controls and monitor adherence to them

  • Ensure that statutory training requirements are met

  • Responsible for preparing and delivering compliance-related training and communications to employees

  • Carry out employee relations investigations as requested by the business

  • Develop training and development programs.

  • Assist in performance management processes.

  • Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues.

  • Maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements.


Requirements



  • B.Sc / HND in Accounting / Finance or related field.

  • 5-8 years relevant experience.

  • Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint and other Office tools

  • Must have Internal Audit and Internal Control experience

  • Must be chartered (ICAN, ACCA,ACA).
