What You’ll Do



  • As part of the high-performing team, you will be applying your skills and knowledge to build the business and create value to customers through multi-engagement channels (face-to-face and virtually).

  • Our sales strategies are emergent and addresses the currents needs in the market. You’ll be part of the brainstorming and co-creating solutions for our customers and patients.

  • As a successful candidate, you will engage with Endocrinologists, Cardiologists, Family Physicians, Nephrologists, Pharmacists, Pulmonologists in Lagos, Nigeria, in a multi-account approach where multi-discipline treatment of CVRM, GI & RESP patients.

Sales Achievement



  • Effectively implement sales strategies and tactics

  • Uses business principles (TAP etc.) to boost sales.

  • Analyses data to build winning sales strategies.

  • Positions solutions within AZ's value proposition.

  • Drive sales performance and ensure sales forecasts and assigned budgets meet or exceed therapeutic and territory expectations.


Customer-Centric Sales Approach



  • Deeply understand customer needs & healthcare landscape.

  • Tailor message to patient journey, disease impact, & decision-makers.

  • Develop pre-call plans & establish unmet needs.

  • Use active listening & questioning to build value & address concerns.

  • Deliver personalized messages & handle objections.

  • Secure commitment & share insights with team.

  • Work with Sales Manager to develop a local strategy and business plan to meet or exceed sales and call execution goals in territory.

  • Successfully complete all training requirements, including product examinations.

Essential Skills And Experience Required



  • Registered Pharmacist (B. Pharm/PharmD) or 1st Degree in Basic Sciences

  • 2-4 years’ experience as a Sales Representative within the Pharmaceutical environment

  • Existing Relationships with KOL’s in the Therapeutic Area

  • Strong Negotiation skills

  • Proven sales and customer success record

  • Previous experience and knowledge of the therapeutic area

  • A Valid driver’s license.

  • Previous experience with facilitating and organising meetings.

  • Extensive experience in relationship and stakeholder management

  • Experience in relationship and stakeholder management

  • Project management experience

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills

  • Ability to travel.
