Roles and Responsibilities
- Preparing job descriptions, advertising vacant positions and managing the employment process.
- Conducting legal analysis and researching legal matters.
- Providing advice on legal matters.
- Drafting legal opinions, memoranda, and briefing documents.
- Managing and mitigating legal risks by designing and implementing company policies and procedures.
- Ensuring compliance with all laws and regulations that apply to the business.
- Promoting legal, compliance and risk management best practice throughout the company.
- Investigate employee issues and conflict and brings them to resolution.
- Ensure all company HR policies are applied consistently.
- Staying up to date with changes to legislation, particularly in relation to laws, rules and regulations that directly affect your business and specific industry.
- Oversee lawsuit, possibly acting as chief litigator.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Candidate should possess a Bachelorof Laws (LLB) Degree.
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience as HR /Legal Officer in a property company will be an added advantage.
- Must have been called to bar.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Remuneration
- Salary ranges from N1,800,000 to N2,400,000 / Annum
- Access to Local and International Training.
- Driving skills will be an added advantage.
