Responsibilities

• Assign drivers to routes based on customer needs and driver availability


• Monitor driver performance and provide feedback as needed


• Track and report on the status of all vehicles in the fleet


• Communicate with drivers, customers, and management to ensure smooth operations


• Coordinate with the maintenance team to schedule vehicle repairs and maintenance


• Respond to driver and customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Transportation Management or a related field


• Prior experience as a fleet dispatcher or similar role in a Logistics Industry


• Familiarity with Lagos roads and traffic patterns


• Excellent communication and organizational skills


• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively


• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail


• Knowledge of GPS systems and transportation management software
