esponsibilities

• Coordinate with scrap supervisor for receiving raw material as per production plan


• Slag samples and adjust fluxes as necessary.


• Takes temperature tests and samples as required


• Grades temperature required for casting, and oversee preparation of furnace as per prescribe guidelines


• Examine furnace after each heat to determine the condition of refractories, water-cooled panels, roof, burners, and make necessary repairs


• Supervise magnet crane operator, bariman and chargers and provide guidance as required from the parts

Qualifications

• Diploma in Metallurgy or related field


• 6 - 10 years’ experience


• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written


• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
