To support the HR Manager in the implementation of policies relating to the effective employment and engagement of staff in the organization and looks after employee progress and welfare.
Responsibilities
Have a clear understanding of employer's business objectives and be able to devise and implement policies that support them.
Work closely with various departments, assisting line managers to understand and implement policies and procedures.
Liaise with a range of people involved in policy areas such as staff performance and health and safety.
Implements policies on issues like working conditions, performance management, staff welfare, disciplinary procedures and absence management.
Assists in reviewing and preparation of staff handbooks.
Advises on pay and other remuneration issues, including promotion and benefits;
Administer surveys and maintain employee records.
Assisting with the recruitment and onboarding of new employees.
Promote equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organisation.
Carry out strategy and planning activities and develop strategies to meet immediate and long-term staff requirements.
Attendance Monitoring.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years' experience as aHR Personnel or similar role
Knowledge of HR functions, policies, and best practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to build and maintain relationships with employees and stakeholders
Knowledge of labor laws and regulations
Strong organizational and time management skills
Relevant HR certifications (e.g., CIPM, etc.) will be an added advantage.
