• We're looking for a Legal Manager to join the Renmoney team.


• As a Legal Manager at Renmoney, you will provide guidance and support to the Legal department regarding legal and other related matters and ensure the company is protected against legal risks at all times.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Provide sound advice on corporate, commercial and legal issues and matters, to Renmoney as well as its various business units and departments.


• Manage Renmoney’s litigation portfolio and liaise with its external counsels and solicitors.


• Review and draft contracts and agreements to ensure that they are in compliance with all applicable statutory or regulatory requirements.


• Contract negotiation and Contract management.


• Efficiently identify, assess and mitigate legal risks across the entire business as well as develop and implement policies and procedures to minimize identified legal risks.


• Manage and oversee Renmoney’s intellectual property portfolio as well as ensure protection and enforcement of its intellectual property rights.


• Assist the Chief Legal Officer with any other duties or projects as required.

REQUIREMENTS

• LLB degree from an accredited university.


• At least eight (8) years post-call legal experience.


• Corporate/Commercial law experience in a reputable law firm or in a CBN regulated entity.


• Masters’ degree will be an advantage.
