Job Summary



  • We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Admin & Accounting Officer to join our team.

  • This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of our administrative functions while maintaining the financial health of the company.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both administrative tasks and accounting practices, with a passion for contributing to a fast-paced, innovative environment.


Key Responsibilities

Administrative Duties:



  • Manage daily office operations, including compliance, scheduling meetings, handling correspondence, and maintaining records.

  • Oversee office supply inventory and ensure all equipment is in good working condition.

  • Assist with human resources tasks such as onboarding new employees and maintaining personnel files.

  • Coordinate company events and meetings, ensuring all logistics are handled efficiently.


Accounting Duties:



  • Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, invoices, receipts, and payments.

  • Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.

  • Reconcile bank statements and prepare monthly financial reports.

  • Assist in budget preparation and financial planning.

  • Manage payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

  • Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.


Requirements



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in an administrative and accounting role.

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel) and office management systems.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure.

  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.

  • The candidate must be a resident of Benin City.
