Assessment and Monitoring: Conduct pre-treatment assessments, including vital signs and physical examinations, and monitor patients' responses to dialysis treatments.
Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about dialysis procedures, care plans, and lifestyle modifications necessary for optimal health outcomes.
Equipment Handling: Operate dialysis machines and other related equipment, ensuring they are properly maintained and functioning correctly.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment data, observations, and any changes in patient condition.
Collaboration: Work closely with nephrologists, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
Emergency Response: Provide immediate care and intervention in case of adverse reactions or emergencies during dialysis sessions.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nigeria.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dialysis Nurse or in a related field.
